Moscow. June 23. INTERFAX-Deputy Head of the Russian Defense Ministry Alexander Fomin and assistant to the head of the Egyptian military Department Mohamed Hassan discussed the prospects of military cooperation between the two countries, including joint exercises, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
"Fomin outlined some promising areas of Russian-Egyptian cooperation, including joint training and combat training activities," the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Moscow Conference on International Security.
Hassan noted the positive dynamics of the development of bilateral relations between Russia and Egypt in the military field, the ministry said.
