Minsk. June 23. INTERFAX-Russia is working on the issue of supplying Belarus with new radar stations, the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSVTS) of Russia told Interfax.
"We are really working on an extensive list of nomenclature that we plan to deliver to Belarus, including new Russian-made radar stations for various purposes," the FSMTC said in connection with the Milex-2021 exhibition of weapons and military equipment opening in Minsk.
On June 18, the head of Rosoboronexport, Alexander Mikheev, announced the company's plans to increase the level of cooperation with Belarus in a number of areas.
"Rosoboronexport increases the level of cooperation with the Republic of Belarus in the field of military-technical cooperation. The company offers the Republic of Belarus comprehensive supplies of Russian military products and special equipment for all types of the armed forces and other national security structures, " Mikheev said.
On June 21, the press service of JSC "Concern of East Kazakhstan Region "Almaz-Antey" reported that its representatives will hold negotiations at the Milex exhibition on the maintenance of previously delivered equipment, modernization of air defense systems, supply of spare parts and components.
"It is planned to discuss separately with the Belarusian side the creation of a service center on the territory of the Republic of Belarus for the repair and maintenance of the Tor anti - aircraft missile systems, "the concern said.
On January 14, the commander of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of Belarus, Igor Golub, announced that Belarus plans to conclude a contract with Russia for the supply of long-range S-400 Triumph air defense systems (Almaz-Antey Concern) and short-range Pantsir-S air defense systems (developed by the Shipunov Instrument Design Bureau, the NPO High-Precision Complexes holding).
