Moscow. June 22. Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev held bilateral talks on security issues in Dushanbe with colleagues from India, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, Russian Security Council staff spokesman Yevgeny Anoshin said.
"With the Indian Prime Minister's Adviser on National Security, Ajit Doval, we discussed in detail further plans for Russian-Indian cooperation in the field of security, cooperation between law enforcement and law enforcement agencies. In addition, the sides exchanged views on the situation in Afghanistan and in the Asia-Pacific region, " Anoshin said.
According to him, Patrushev and Secretary of the Security Council of Tajikistan Nasrullo Mahmudzoda discussed regional security issues at the meeting, and prospects for cooperation within the framework of the CSTO and the SCO were discussed with Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan Marat Imankulov.
"With the Assistant to the President - Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan Asset Issekeshev, an exchange of views took place on the problems of biological safety, on the sanitary and epidemiological situation in Russia and Kazakhstan," the press secretary said.
He recalled that Patrushev arrived in Dushanbe to participate in the 16th annual meeting of the Secretaries of the security councils of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
