The Russian Ministry of Defense, based on the military technopolis Era, develops smartphones for the Russian military, as well as specialized mobile applications for daily activities on the territory of military units. This was stated by the deputy head of the Department of Information Systems of the military Department, Major General Alexander Osadchuk, in an interview with TASS on the sidelines of the international exhibition "Svyaz-2021".
According to him, the creation of a secure smartphone is based on the mobile platform "Aurora".
"(The phone) will work in different modes, including those that will allow for secure communication, " Osadchuk explained.
The Major General also said that the Quartz project is already being tested in the Era technopolis to create a digital ecosystem for the daily activities of the military, which is designed to make life easier on the territory of military units.
In particular, the military and their family members will have access to the "passport" system, which will allow them to solve everyday tasks in a few clicks and get all the necessary data.
In April, the military department reported that a robot manipulator with tactile feedback was presented at the thematic exhibition "Day of Innovations of the Russian Defense Ministry" in the technopolis "Era". Its advantages, according to the information provided, consist in a small mass and high power. Technical vision systems were installed in the object, which allow you to install manipulators on mobile carriers as part of robotic systems.
