Vladivostok. June 15. INTERFAX-FAR EAST - The international Russian-Lao exercise "Laros-2021" will take place at one of the training grounds in the Primorsky Territory - the military personnel of the combined arms army of the Eastern Military District (VVO) will take part in it.
"The joint Russian-Lao military exercise will be aimed at combating international terrorism. During the exercise, the military personnel of the two countries will use various tactical techniques to eliminate a conditional illegal armed formation, " the press service of the VVO quoted Colonel Ivan Tarayev, head of the International Military Cooperation Department, as saying on Tuesday.
The parties have already agreed on a detailed plan of the exercise, logistics issues, a list of cultural events, as well as the procedure for the arrival of military personnel from Laos in the Primorsky Territory. The final planning conference will be held in Ussuriysk.
