Kiev. June 14. INTERFAX-UKRAINE-At a summit in Brussels, the North Atlantic Alliance confirmed that its doors are open to Ukraine and Georgia, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said.
"In the communique, in the decisions taken today, we confirmed our decisions that the doors of NATO are open, according to the decision at the Bucharest summit in 2008. And also that we will strengthen and do more to help Ukraine and Georgia, as post-graduate countries, focus on reforms that will bring them closer to NATO and Euro - Atlantic integration," Stoltenberg said at a press conference following the results of the NATO summit in Brussels on Monday, answering a question from Interfax-Ukraine.
He stressed that " the main message is that NATO stands in solidarity with Ukraine."
