Shoigu visited the training base of the 137th detachment of the fight against underwater sabotage forces and means of the Caspian Flotilla. There, he was shown the training of military personnel in pressure chambers and a deep-water pool, where they practice diving, hand-to-hand and knife combat, shooting and ship inspection.
During the inspection, the head of the Defense Ministry drew attention to the need to take into account the individual characteristics of each soldier.
"Everyone has individual characteristics, their own health. Everything must be taken into account. This is the Special Forces. This is a piece work, " he said.
On the air of Sputnik radio, the director of the Center for Military and Political Studies of MGIMO, Doctor of Historical Sciences Alexey Podberezkin noted that there is every reason to call the training of special forces "piece work".
According to him, the training of special forces in various types of troops in the Soviet, and then the Russian army in recent decades has constantly become more complicated, and its numerical composition has increased.
