Russia, Serbia and Belarus to hold exercises in Krasnodar Territory

Moscow. June 8. INTERFAX-The joint Russian-Belarusian-Serbian tactical exercise "Slavic Brotherhood-2021" will be held in the Krasnodar Territory on the basis of the Novorossiysk Airborne Forces, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

"In total, about 100 servicemen of the special brigade of the Armed Forces of Serbia, 350 servicemen of the Vitebsk Separate Guards Airborne Unit of the special operations forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus on 60 units of standard military equipment will take part in the joint exercise," the ministry said on Tuesday.

From the Russian side, more than 500 servicemen of the Kuban Cossack Regiment of the Novorossiysk Guards Paratrooper-assault mountain formation of the Airborne Troops are expected to participate.

The exercise will take place from 8 to 19 June.
