Sniper training is a special art, which is given great attention in the preparation of special forces units. The Siberian officer shared some nuances practiced by sniper groups during the capture of the building of the rifle artillery range.

In the building of the rifle artillery range, snipers and sniper pairs work out the capture and inspection of all premises, shooting at various ranges. A pair can defeat several targets at the same time.
An important task for the shooter, the development of which is given special attention - is to select, equip and carefully disguise the firing position. When the shot is fired, you need to quickly change it to a spare or new one. Siberian special forces use the combat experience gained in Syria in the course of training.
Great emphasis is placed on the physical training of the shooter, because in combat conditions they have to overcome many kilometers of cross-country crossings in full combat gear. Snipers constantly train endurance, emotional fortitude, patience, the ability to be in constant observation mode, visual memory,a sharp eye, quick reaction and accuracy of the shot. This squad has snipers who can hit a matchbox from 200 meters away. As the shooters themselves admit, there can be no small things in their work.
They are currently armed with three rifles: SVD-S, SV-98 and "Vintorez". Snipers also have a silent pistol PSS "Vul", which uses special 7.62-mm cartridges SP-4, capable of piercing bulletproof vests.
The targets can be different-drone operators, sentries on towers, machine-gun and grenade-launcher crews, single and group figures, and others. Special attention in the training is paid to the issues of counter-sniper combat, the officer concluded.
