INTERFAX-Russia is not going to scare anyone with its new weapons systems, sooner or later high-tech countries, including the United States, will also come to similar results, so it is better now to agree on how to continue to live in a changing world, Russian President Vladimir Putin said, speaking about his upcoming meeting with American President Joseph Biden.
"Strategic stability is extremely important. We're not going to scare anyone with our new weapons systems. Yes, we are developing them and have achieved some results and successes here. But all the leading countries, the leading military powers are doing all this, we were just a little step ahead, " Putin said at a meeting with representatives of international news agencies held on the eve of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
He added that " such high-tech countries as the United States, other states - they will sooner or later also come to similar results. Therefore, I think it is better to agree in advance on how we will live together in a changing world."
