Saint-Petersburg. June 4. INTERFAX-Russia has fully fulfilled its obligations to supply arms for export, Dmitry Shugaev, head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, told reporters.
"We have fulfilled our obligations to foreign customers, there are no claims against us, and I am confident that in the coming years, despite the ongoing restrictions associated with the pandemic, all these tasks will be fulfilled. I am full of optimism in this regard, " Shugaev said.
He added that the FSMTC and the Russian defense industry have fulfilled the tasks set by the president of the country.
"The portfolio of orders exceeds$ 50 billion, which gives us confidence in the coming years in the systematic work on the implementation of those decisions and those tasks that are fixed in the strategy for the development of the military-technical cooperation until 2025, signed in 2019 by the president. And, accordingly, the industry is confidently working to fulfill the contractual obligations that currently exist and this portfolio actually forms. So 2019 was a good year, and 2020 also did not let us down," the head of the Federal Customs Service said.
