The final 3rd International Planning Conference with the participation of representatives of the host countries of the ArMI-2021 and the military and diplomatic corps was held in the Patriot Exhibition Center.
The conference was attended by representatives of 12 military departments of the co-organizing countries of ArMI-2021: Armenia, Algeria, Belarus, Vietnam, Iran, Kazakhstan, Qatar, China, Serbia, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and Russia, as well as more than 130 representatives of the military and diplomatic corps from 27 countries of Asia, Africa, Europe and America.
At the conference, the Russian side brought the results of the work on the preparation for the ArMI-2021 to the military attaches of foreign states, representatives of the countries that organize the competitions. So, as of June 1, 277 teams from more than 40 countries expressed their desire to participate in the ArMI-2021.
Four countries: Burkina Faso, Indonesia, Peru and Saudi Arabia will participate in the Games for the first time. The procedure for crossing the border and the requirements for compliance with sanitary and epidemiological standards for visiting teams were also updated.
The Army International Games-2021 will be held from August 22 to September 4. 34 international competitions are planned to be held during the Games.
Russia will host 16 contests. Belarus, China and Iran will hold three competitions each on their territory. Two competitions will be held on the territory of Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Mongolia. Algeria, Armenia, Serbia and Qatar will each hold one competition. For the first time, Algeria, Vietnam, Serbia and Qatar will host the ArMI-2021 competitions.
The Ministry of Defense noted that 156 teams from 32 countries took part in 30 competitions of the Army Games. The Russian national team won 25 competitions, the Belarusian national team won 4, and the Uzbek national team won 3.
