As part of the implementation of the Vienna Document of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Russian officers visited Estonia to inspect military facilities there.
This is reported by the local portal err.ee.
The Russian inspectors arrived at the military camp of Tapa, and later - at the central training ground of the Defense Forces. Their visit to Tapa began with the story of the commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade of the Estonian Defense Forces, Colonel Vahur Karus-about the history, equipment and weapons of this unit.
In addition, the inspectors were introduced to the international NATO battalion stationed in Tapa and showed how the Spring Storm exercises are conducted. Estonians are extremely worried that the "Kremlin propaganda" will get at its disposal incriminating facts about the soldiers of other NATO countries stationed in Estonia.
The inspection continued at the Central Training Ground of the Defense Forces, where the training area was inspected. The inspectors met with the personnel of the NATO tank unit and the soldiers of the Kalev infantry battalion.
