Belarusian heavy-duty trucks MAZ-6317 were delivered to the units of the National Police of Cambodia. The delivery of two dozen on-board vehicles to this country became known at the end of last month.

In the Network there were photos taken during the reception of equipment by local security forces in the capital of the state - Phnom Penh.
These all-terrain vehicles with a wheel formula of 6x6 have proven themselves well over many years of operation. They are equipped with cabotless double cabins with a sleeping place. The weight of the transported cargo is more than 11,500 kg. Its own mass exceeds 25,000 kg.
The power of the turbocharged diesel engine is 330 horsepower. At the same time, there are options with stronger engines. The transmission is manual.
The maximum speed on the highway is 85 km/h. Two fuel tanks with a total capacity of 550 liters are installed.
At the moment, the BM-21A Belgrade multiple rocket launchers have been created on the chassis of these vehicles, carrying an additional set of 122-mm unguided ammunition.
At the 9th international exhibition of weapons and military equipment MILEX held in Minsk in May 2019, a new version of the 220-mm MLRS "Hurricane"was presented. To work with it, a transport-loading machine was created on the MAZ platform.
The Minsk vehicle was also used for deep modernization of the Osa anti-aircraft missile system.
