Russian Deputy Defense Minister Colonel-General Alexander Fomin discussed bilateral cooperation with Deputy Minister of Defense and Support of the Iranian Armed Forces Brigadier General Khojatollah Koreishi at a meeting in Moscow. This was reported to journalists in the Russian military department.
"The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral military and military-technical cooperation. The sides exchanged views on regional security issues, " the Defense Ministry said.
According to the military department, the parties " confirmed their intention to deepen the dialogue and develop contacts in the defense sphere."
