Military personnel who serve both on conscription and under contract, from October 1, will increase salaries for positions and ranks. This is stated in a government decree published on the official Internet portal of legal information on Wednesday, May 26.
It is noted that salaries will increase by 1,037 times.
In addition, the increase will also affect those citizens who serve in the Rosgvardiya, as well as employees of the internal affairs bodies, the penal system, the fire service and customs.
The resolution notes that the expenses related to the payment of monetary allowances to military personnel and service employees are made within the budget allocations of the federal budget. They, in turn, are provided for these purposes to the relevant federal executive authorities and federal state bodies.
Earlier in January, the Russian government approved the indexation of individual payments to the military and employees of some federal executive bodies.
It was noted that the document applies to legal relations that have arisen since January 1, 2021.
