MOSCOW, May 26 - RIA Novosti. Russian President Vladimir Putin has ratified the agreement between Russia and Kazakhstan on military cooperation, which was signed in Nur-Sultan on October 16, 2020.
The relevant document is published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
As specified earlier, the agreement was signed due to the loss of relevance of certain provisions of a similar document dated March 28, 1994.
The document prescribes " the international legal framework governing the implementation of military cooperation measures between Russia and Kazakhstan, and the forms of their implementation."
"The authorized bodies of the parties for the implementation of the agreement are the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan," it was specified earlier in the explanatory note to the document.
