At the Russian military base of the Southern Military District (SE) in Abkhazia, the number of people wishing to enter military service under a contract has increased.
One in four conscripts who have served a fixed term of service will continue their military career on a contract basis in their units, which is 15% higher than in the same period last year.
For the entire period of service, young contractors will be provided with new, equipped furniture, service apartments or rooms in dormitories. Also, after three years of service, a soldier under a contract can purchase an apartment in the property in any region of Russia under the military mortgage program.
Military personnel who are discharged to the reserve and who have shown themselves during the service, who have shown high results in combat training, are given letters of recommendation for admission to universities, memorable gifts with the symbols of the base and certificates of honor, their parents are sent letters of thanks on behalf of the command of the military base.
It is planned that the events of dismissal to the reserve and the signing of new contracts will last until June of this year.
