MOSCOW, May 25. /TASS/. The main scientific institute of Roscosmos-TsNIIMash assumes that the company's revenue from near-Earth space monitoring and satellite protection services on the international market by 2035 may amount to 1.2 billion rubles. This is stated in the materials of the institute, available to TASS.
The materials note that in addition to the state corporation, TsNIIMash will provide services for monitoring near-Earth space and protecting spacecraft to foreign partners. "1.2 billion rubles - revenue from monitoring services on the international market by 2035," the materials say.
At the same time, it is specified that the number of spacecraft serviced by the enterprise will increase from 45 to 482 from 2024 to 2035.
The updated Russian automated warning system for dangerous situations in near-Earth space will be called the "Milky Way". It will include 65 telescopes, as well as a space segment. As previously reported by the executive director of Roscosmos for advanced programs and Science Alexander Bloshenko in an interview with TASS, the space segment will include a grouping of specialized satellites for monitoring near-Earth space. The launch of the first of them is scheduled for the horizon of 2027.
