MOSCOW, May 24. /TASS/. The public perception of Russian cosmonautics will change in the next two or three years, and the industry will see "engineering miracles". This was announced by the General Director of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin at the ninth international technology conference Startup Village.
"Since 2023, Roscosmos is moving in waves to new space technology: we launch the Soyuz-5 rocket, the Angara hydrogen rocket begins to fly, and others. There are those engineering wonders that are sometimes so lacking in the current life. In the next two or three years, there will be events that will change the idea of Russian cosmonautics, " Rogozin said.
According to the head of the state corporation, then the T-shirts of people will have the logo of Roscosmos, and not NASA.
Rogozin said in April that Roscosmos is on the verge of very important changes in the industry: it is expected to switch to new rocket and space technology, the beginning of lunar research.
The Startup Village conference, which will be held for the ninth time this year, traditionally serves as a platform for discussing trends and ideas, which is attended by startup founders, successful businessmen, investors, large technology corporations and government representatives. Last year, in the context of a new reality, the organizers held the Startup Village online for the first time. The number of views of the conference exceeded 185 thousand on the website and more than 1.5 million on external resources.
