Nis (Serbia). May 23. INTERFAX-Russian and Serbian special forces demonstrated a high level of coordination during the tactical exercise "Joint Response-2021", said State Secretary-Deputy Defense Minister Nikolai Pankov.
Together with Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin, he took part in the final stage of the anti-terrorist exercise, which took place on May 23 at the Oresac training ground (Nis, Serbia).
"In recent years, bilateral cooperation between Russia and Serbia in the military sphere has reached a high level of development. We are ready to continue to make every effort to continue it at the current pace, " Pankov said.
According to him, during the final stage of the exercise, the Russian and Serbian special forces showed excellent combat training, demonstrated the ability to establish the necessary level of interaction in the shortest possible time to solve joint tasks.
The Deputy Minister stressed that the joint training of Russian and Serbian troops is not directed against anyone, but is another confirmation of Russian-Serbian friendship.
Nikolai Pankov presented Russian and Alexander Fomin - Serbian servicemen with medals "For Strengthening the Combat Commonwealth" and "For Distinction in exercises".
