The Russian Federation has solved all the problems for creating hypersonic weapons, the United States - at the stage of development work-the concern of East Kazakhstan Region "Almaz-Antey"

Moscow. May 22. INTERFAX-Russian specialists were able to solve all the difficulties in creating hypersonic weapons, including materials that are at the stage of development work( R & D), said the general director of the concern of East Kazakhstan Region "Almaz-Antey" Jan Novikov

"Russia has solved this problem, the Americans are still in the framework of the OKRA," Novikov said at the New Knowledge forum on Saturday.

He said that the main difficulties in creating hypersonic missiles are related to materials.

"The rocket is flying in the atmosphere, a huge friction is created, up to plasma formation, any metal melts," Novikov said.
