They talk about one thing, they do another, " Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Interfax, answering the question whether this step by Washington will be taken into account by Moscow when making a decision on a possible meeting between Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden.

The US Treasury Department announced earlier on Friday that it was adding a number of companies and vessels related to the implementation of the Nord Stream 2 project to the sanctions list.

The decision to add these companies to the sanctions list was announced earlier this week by the US State Department.
