Speaking about the creation of military training centers in civilian universities, he recalled that such an order was given by the President of Russia. This will allow us to implement the initiative of the Ministry of Defense - to make it so that students can serve on-the-job. "A lot of work is being done to open military training centers in all higher educational institutions, where an appropriate base will be created for this purpose, so that young people can safely serve on-the-job and receive a military ticket after graduation," the minister explained.
State Secretary of the ministry Nikolai Pankov reported at the meeting that military training centers are organized in more than 500 Russian universities. The leaders of Yakutia and Komi asked Shoigu to assist in the creation of such structures in their regions. "We will definitely help," the minister promised and set the task to the command of the Eastern Military District, the Pacific Fleet and the DOSAAF leadership to provide all the necessary assistance.
According to Shoigu, the creation of scientific, scientific-production and sports companies in the Armed Forces is directly related to the activities of the unified system of educational and educational processes. "A lot of work is also going on in the Unarmia," the minister reported."We don't let her out of our sight, either. We already have more than 800,000 Unarmatians. To date, this is the most massive children's and youth movement in the country, " Shoigu said.
As for the Avangard centers, as Deputy Defense Minister Andrey Kartapolov reported at the meeting, they will appear in 49 Russian regions by the end of this year. On behalf of Sergei Shoigu, the army leaders will assist the local authorities in their formation and development.
