MOSCOW, May 12-RIA Novosti. The general leadership of the troops of the joint regional air defense system of Russia and Tajikistan will be carried out by the commander of the Central Military District of the Armed Forces of Russia, follows from the text of the agreement between Russia and Tajikistan on the creation of a Joint regional air Defense system.
It was reported that the Russian government approved the project to create a Joint regional air defense system with Tajikistan, the corresponding decree of the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
According to the document, the coordination of joint actions of the troops of the Joint Regional Air Defense System of Russia and Tajikistan will be carried out by the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Aerospace Forces. The general management of the forces allocated to the regional air defense system will be carried out by the commander of the Central Air Defense Forces, and the management of joint actions of the troops within the borders of a separate collective security area will be carried out by the Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Armed Forces of Tajikistan.
The Agreement is concluded for an indefinite period, but each of the parties has the right to terminate it at any time by sending a written notice to the partner in advance. After the expiration of six months, the agreement is terminated.
