Most attempts to carry out malicious network activity against Russia in the past year were recorded from addresses registered in the United States, Germany and the Netherlands, said Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov.
The diplomat shared the relevant data with RIA Novosti, referring to the National Coordination Center for Computer Incidents.
According to Syromolotov, the most frequent targets of attacks were objects related to public administration, the financial sector, the military-industrial complex, healthcare and vaccine development.
Speaking on Sputnik radio, Pavel Feldman, Deputy Director of the Institute for Strategic Studies and Forecasts of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Candidate of Political Sciences, noted that significant forces are directed to this activity in Western countries.
