Baku. May 6. According to the results of January-April 2021, Azerbaijan has reached the second position in the procurement of Turkish weapons, the Turkish Anadolu agency reports.
"According to the Ministry of Trade of Turkey and the Assembly of Exporters of Turkey, the export of defense and aviation products from Turkey in January-April increased by 47.7% compared to the same period last year-to $949.744 million. The main buyer in January-April 2021 was the United States - $386,113 million (an increase of 56%), " the agency notes.
Azerbaijan is in the second position. In January-April, Azerbaijan purchased $117.315 million worth of military products from Turkey, which is 13.3 times more than a year earlier.
