Washington. April 28. INTERFAX-US allies should refrain from entering into large contracts for the supply of Russian weapons, as otherwise they may fall under US sanctions, the head of the State Department, Anthony Blinken, said on Wednesday.
"All US allies should avoid large purchases of Russian weapons, including new batches of S-400s, "he said during a round table at the State Department.
Blinken recalled that according to the CAATSA law in force in the United States, restrictive measures can be imposed for the conclusion of such transactions.
Speaking about the S-400 air defense systems already delivered by Russia to Turkey, Blinken recalled that the United States opposed this deal.
