A car carrying Russian peacekeepers was blown up by an anti-tank mine in Nagorno-Karabakh, two people were injured. This was announced on Tuesday, April 27, by the press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the unrecognized republic, Unan Tadevosyan.
"The incident occurred three days ago. Two peacekeepers were injured. Now the lives of the Russian military are out of danger, they are hospitalized, "the Interfax news agency quotes Tadevosyan as saying.
According to the press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, due to the incident, the search for the remains of servicemen who died during the recent military conflict had to be suspended.
On April 8, Russian peacekeepers provided full security for the repair and restoration work of the damaged section of the gas pipeline on the line of demarcation of the parties in the region of Nagorno-Karabakh. The sappers of the humanitarian demining unit managed to examine the territory and pipes for the presence of explosive objects, after which the military personnel of the Humanitarian Response Center accompanied the representatives of the repair service to the accident site.
The fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh ended on November 10, 2020 after the signing of the trilateral agreement on the cessation of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh.
