INTERFAX-The Prosecutor General's Office of Russia has revealed the facts of the failure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the terms of import substitution in some areas of the defense industry, it is planned to conduct a large-scale audit, said the head of the supervisory department Igor Krasnov.
"Despite the long period of implementation of the import substitution program-almost five years, this area is also not without problems. So, as part of the inspection of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the facts of failure to implement measures for the import substitution of components of military products, including electronic components, were revealed, " Krasnov said, speaking with the annual report to the Federation Council on Friday.
"In this regard, in the near future, we will begin a large-scale inspection of all import substitution measures provided for in the relevant plans and schedules," the Prosecutor General said.
