Moscow. April 13. INTERFAX-Issues of ensuring anti-terrorist security in the Southern Federal District, including the transport crossing through the Kerch Strait, were discussed at a meeting of the National Anti-Terrorist Committee (NAC) on Tuesday.
"The necessary measures have been taken to ensure the security of potential targets of terrorist attacks, including the transport crossing through the Kerch Strait, the electric grid power bridge and the main gas pipeline" Krasnodar Territory - the Crimean Peninsula, " the NAC information center said in a statement issued after the meeting.
Director of the FSB, Chairman of the NAC Alexander Bortnikov said at the meeting that " international terrorist organizations continue to make attempts to prepare terrorist attacks and sabotage."
"At the same time, they seek to involve primarily young people and people coming from abroad in terrorist activities through targeted indoctrination," the NAC said in a statement.
Special attention was paid to ensuring the proper level of anti-terrorist protection of places of mass stay of people, which is especially important in view of the upcoming holiday season.
