The United States does not want to cooperate with Russia in the field of cybersecurity, absolutely groundlessly accusing us of cyber attacks on its resources. This was stated by the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, in an interview with Kommersant.
At the same time, according to him, Washington does not present any evidence of the involvement of the Russian authorities in these incidents either to Moscow or to the general public. But it makes Russia almost the main aggressor in cyberspace. Patrushev also reiterated that Russia had nothing to do with the latest hacking of SolarWinds software, which was claimed by the US authorities.
"This is another sweeping accusation against us. Our state has nothing to do with this hacking, " the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation said.
At the same time, he did not rule out that hackers living in Russia or having Russian citizenship may participate in certain computer sabotages. But the state, he said, has nothing to do with it. According to him, Moscow has repeatedly appealed to Washington to give specific information so that we would understand. In response, the Americans never gave anything.
