Moscow. April 6. INTERFAX-AVN-The contract for the supply of S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile systems to India is being implemented as planned, Dmitry Shugaev, head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) of the Russian Federation, told Interfax on Tuesday.
"Everything is according to plan," Shugaev said, answering the agency's question about the timing of the start of S-400 deliveries to India.
In early October 2018, on the sidelines of the Russian-Indian summit talks, a contract was signed for the supply of S-400 Triumph air defense systems to India. India will receive five S-400 regimental sets (Almaz-Antey Concern of East Kazakhstan Region), the transaction amount exceeds $5 billion.
The first S-400 deliveries to India are expected to take place before the end of 2021.
