MOSCOW, March 25/ Sputnik Radio. The United States and Western countries have launched a "mental" war against Russia, the purpose of which is to destroy self-consciousness, the adviser to the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, the actual state adviser of the third class Andrey Ilnitsky, told the Arsenal of the Fatherland magazine.
He said that the West avoids a direct military conflict with Russia, as this threatens to cause unacceptable damage at the expense of nuclear weapons and the army. Therefore, this type of war is excluded for the next ten years, the expert is convinced.
He pointed out that " the consequences of this "mental" war do not manifest themselves immediately", but after a generation, when "it will be simply impossible to do anything".
Earlier, Sputnik radio reported that the Ukrainian edition presented a scenario of a potential Russian-Ukrainian war.
