In Russia, this year, state tests of new guided shells "Krasnopol-M2", as well as guided mines "Gran"will be completed.
This was reported to RIA Novosti in the press service of the Kalashnikov concern. The specialists work together with the developer-the Instrument Engineering Design Bureau. In 2021, two experimental design works on guided artillery shells "Krasnopol-M2" and mines KM-8 "Gran"are being completed.
"Krasnopol-M2" - a complex of guided weapons. Designed for 155 mm artillery systems. Able to hit fixed and moving armored and unarmored targets and engineering structures. The range of fire is up to 26 kilometers.
The KM-8 "Gran" guided weapons system for 120 mm mortars. It is designed to destroy a controlled high-explosive fragmentation mine of various equipment and engineering structures. Valid at any time of the day, in any territory. With high efficiency, it hits both stationary and moving targets with the first shot.
