General Andre Lanata, head of the NATO Transformation Command, visited Estonia. He got acquainted with the situation in the region and the activities of the alliance troops in the country, writes err.ee.
"NATO's military strength is based on synergy - a common effort to ensure and strengthen cooperation. Estonia's contribution to the development of the effectiveness and strength of the alliance is revealed through its participation in the operations and development of the national armed forces, " General Lanata said.
The NATO Transformation Command, located in Norfolk (USA), is one of the two strategic offices of the alliance. It is responsible for observing and analyzing changes affecting the battlefield of the future. The command is also responsible for the development of doctrines and programs for the development of the joint armed forces to meet the latest requirements.
