TSAMTO, February 1. For the first time, the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center hosted meetings of representatives of the military administration bodies and expert groups of the Russian Defense Ministry Commission on Innovative Projects and Technologies.
The event was dedicated to the organization of the Commission's work in 2021 and was organized by specialists of the Main Department of Research and Technological Support of Advanced Technologies (Innovative Research) The Russian defense Ministry, which held with representatives of the military authorities of classes in order of execution of the basic provisions and requirements of normative documents regulating the procedure of the action works on the creation of advanced weapons, military and special equipment.
Within the framework of the agenda, the issues of organizing the preparation and holding of thematic exhibitions of innovative developments submitted to the Commission for consideration, the main activities of the Commission's work planned for the first half of 2021 were considered.
The experts discussed the procedure for submitting to the Commission promising developments selected based on the results of the International Military-Technical Forum "ARMY" for their subsequent implementation in the interests of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
As noted in the GUNID of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the collection will help to optimize and improve the efficiency of the Commission.
The event was attended by representatives of 25 military authorities and 23 expert groups.

An effective mechanism for implementing advanced technical solutions in the interests of the Russian Defense Ministry is the Commission of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Innovative Projects and Technologies, which provides conditions for their implementation.
According to the results of the work for 2020, the Commission selected 94 initiative developments, which exceeded the number of similar developments that received a positive conclusion in 2019 by 10 %. At the same time, 18 initiative decisions were rejected, which received negative conclusions from expert groups of military authorities, which indicates the lack of a formal approach, according to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
