Russian servicemen conducted a series of regular anti-terror training exercises at observation posts in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was reported in the Russian Defense Ministry. "When working out actions on the alarm, the servicemen from the peacekeeping contingent worked out the occupation of rifle positions in order to defend the post, as well as the closure of the highway in order to stop traffic," the military department said.
By the way, the observation posts of the peacekeepers are equipped with "Checkpoint"fortifications. They are designed to protect the military from small arms and shrapnel, as well as to conduct circular surveillance of the nearby territory.
MINISTRY OF Emergency Situations
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia told about the work of departmental doctors involved in the Karabakh zone of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent.
"As part of the humanitarian mission in Nagorno-Karabakh, since November 25, 2020, EMERCOM paramedics have provided medical assistance to the local population in more than 250 cases, including about 150 therapeutic and 100 surgical profiles," the press service of the EMERCOM reported.
According to the rescuers who are part of the group, local residents most often turn to doctors with diseases of the upper respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, various injuries and wounds, including shrapnel and gunshot wounds.
In addition, paramedics of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations actively participate in conducting security lessons in Karabakh schools. They also provide medical support for pyrotechnics of the consolidated group of the department on the road.
