Dubai. December 28. The Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah, despite opposition from Israel, was able to double its arsenal of guided missiles in a year, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said.
"The leader of the Lebanese Hezbollah on Sunday said that his group now has twice as many guided missiles as a year ago, and noted that Israel's attempts to prevent (Hezbollah - IF) to get them failed," reports the Associated press.
Nasrallah noted that Hezbollah has the ability to strike at any area of Israel and the Palestinian territories. According to him, when earlier Israel, through a US representative, threatened Hezbollah with a strike on a traffic facility in the Bekaa region of Lebanon, Hezbollah warned of its readiness to respond to such attacks.
Commenting on the situation in the United States, Nasrallah noted that the last weeks of the outgoing administration of US President Donald Trump are extremely important, and it is necessary not to relax vigilance.
In addition, Nasrallah recalled the upcoming anniversary of the assassination of Iranian General Qasem Suleimani by the Americans and promised that Iran and its allies would take revenge on the United States for this act.
