Syrian air defenses managed to shoot down most of the rockets fired by the Israeli army at the Western part of the province of Hama.
This was reported by the General Directorate of radio and television of Syria, citing a source in the defense Ministry of the Arab Republic.
"Our air defense systems intercepted enemy missiles and shot down most of them," the report said.
According to the source, the strike was carried out from Lebanese airspace. Earlier, the Directorate informed that the Syrian air defense forces are responding to rocket fire in the West of Hama.
It was noted that the object of the attack could be a research center located near the city of Masyaf.
