"And another good news from our engine builders: Energomash today conducted the first full-size fire test of the world's most powerful liquid rocket engine RD-171MV. All parameters are normal, " Rogozin wrote on Twitter.
He added that the engine will be used on the latest Soyuz-5 launch vehicle.

In September 2019, NPO Energomash launched mass production of the world's most powerful liquid rocket engines RD-171MV. They are not only intended for use on the first stage of the new Soyuz-5 launch vehicle, but will also be used on the superheavy Yenisei rocket.
