AKV-521 has 85% unification with the TR3 carbine (the civilian version of the updated AK-12), but at the same time it has a number of important features. Now the box is milled steel, in the serial version it is planned to be stamped steel.
The fire translator is made according to the standard AK logic under the index finger. On the other side of the barrel, the fire translator for the left hand is presented in a vertical version. This is done to ensure that the butt can be folded and locked.
The optics bar is now inextricably linked to the barrel in all life cycles of the carbine (disassembly, Assembly, cleaning). The collimator sight is placed on a low mount, which allows you to use Red Dot and mechanics at the same time.
