Specialists of the Russian center for reconciliation of warring parties in Syria (CPVS) have delivered more than 4.5 thousand tons of humanitarian aid to Syrian citizens over the past five years, including food, medicine and essential goods.
Every day, many residents of settlements destroyed during the war are forced to go to larger cities for food.
The village of Sifat in Aleppo, for example, lost its bakery during the war. For food, you have to travel a long distance to the center of the region every day. However, this time they did not have to go: Russian servicemen delivered bags of flour, sugar, rice and tea to the locality.
It is also noted that over the past five years, 975 educational and 246 medical institutions and more than 4.8 thousand residential buildings have been restored in Syria with Russia's support. In addition, more than 1.4 thousand km of power lines and more than 1.6 thousand km of roads were repaired.
On November 10, it was reported that on the eve of the International conference on the return of refugees to the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic, military personnel of the Russian Center for reconciliation of warring parties and control over the movement of refugees in Syria continued to provide humanitarian assistance to the population in need in several provinces of the state.
