Baku. November 15. INTERFAX-AZERBAIJAN-the Azerbaijani Armed forces are ready to deploy in the Kelbajar region after the Armenian population leaves, head of the Department of international military cooperation of the defense Ministry Huseyn Makhmudov said.
"I declare with all responsibility that parts of the Azerbaijani armed forces are already ready to be deployed in the Kelbajar region after the Armenian population leaves," Makhmudov said at a briefing on Sunday.
According to him, the Armenian population of the region is leaving the region. "We don't see any provocations," he added.
At the same time, he stressed that the Azerbaijani military does not interfere in the process of withdrawing the Armenian population from the Kelbajar region.
Makhmudov added that the Azerbaijani armed forces will enter the Kelbajar region from the territories of the Goygol and Dashkesan regions.
