Yerevan/Baku. November 1. INTERFAX-significant damage was caused to the Infantry of the Azerbaijani armed forces, Armenian defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan said.
"The analysis of the actions of mercenaries who are thrown on the front line, they are the first line, shows that the potential of the infantry of the Azerbaijani armed forces has been seriously damaged," Hovhannisyan said at a briefing on Sunday.
He claims that the leadership of the Azerbaijani army has been transferred to the Turkish General staff.
"In fact, the Armed forces (of Azerbaijan - if) have ceased to act independently, all leadership has been transferred to the General staff of Turkey. I also note that Azerbaijan's technological superiority will not last long, and surprises are expected, " the representative of the Armenian defense Ministry said.
Hovhannisyan also said that the offensive actions of the Azerbaijani armed forces continued in small groups on Sunday. "The enemy also used aviation and artillery in places. There are no noticeable positional changes. At the moment, the fighting continues, " he said.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of defense of Azerbaijan announced the destruction of the enemy's military automobile column in the Khojavend direction.
