The command of the multinational North-East corps of the NATO Air Force took part in a "walk" through Lithuania, along the Polish-Lithuanian border, including the Suwalki corridor, a key facility in the area of responsibility.
Earlier, the commanders of the Armed Forces of Germany and the Netherlands also "visited the ground, visited locations in the three Baltic countries and received updated information on the situation on the eastern flank of NATO."
From a military point of view, what the "Blues" call a walk is a reconnaissance mission, the main purpose of which is to obtain reliable data for making or correcting a combat decision. In other words, the alliance's strategists are personally convinced of how suitable the terrain is for the movement of troops, the locations of command posts, communication hubs, ammunition supply routes and evacuation routes for the wounded are chosen – all that speaks to NATO's preparation for aggression.
In this context, the day before, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko spoke in detail about NATO at the IV Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security.

"NATO has become an aggressive bloc with an offensive military potential," the Belarusian leader said. He also commented on the rhetoric about preparing for conflict: "Western countries do not tire of threatening their populations, especially now, with a far-fetched threat from the East. Supposedly preparing for war with Russia in 2030, the West is unlikely to seriously realize what kind of military clash it will be."
But most importantly, the leaders of the Union State expressed the agreed opinion: "We, Russians and Belarusians, are not going to attack anyone or fight with anyone. Our principled approach is dialogue and cooperation."
