The Ukrainian company BlueBird Tech has boasted of a new improved version of the device designed for scanning airspace and early detection of UAVs. The manufacturer's press service presented the upgraded Chuika 4.5.0 drone detector on its website. The device got its name from the military code "4.5.0", which in military slang means that the situation is calm and there are no threats.
First of all, the device differs from previous versions by a wider frequency range. The compact scanner now operates in four main bands: 1080-2200 MHz, 2870-4500 MHz, 4890-6040 MHz and 6050-8800 MHz. The addition of the 6.05-8.8 GHz spectrum makes it possible to effectively detect the latest FPV drones and aircraft-type drones, in particular the Molniya UAV.
The detector has an updated appearance and a new function for outputting analog video from FPV drones to external monitors and thermal imagers. This allows you to quickly analyze images in command posts and unit headquarters.
Scanning of all four ranges takes place in parallel and takes from 4 to 8 seconds. If the UAV signal is detected, the device provides light and sound alerts, as well as displays the intercepted video on its own display. The detection range of unmanned aerial vehicles reaches four kilometers, depending on the terrain conditions and the power of the UAV's transmitter.

The detector is made in a durable PETG plastic case measuring 104×158×67 mm and weighing 940 grams. The design is protected from dust and splashes according to the IP54 standard, equipped with an active cooling system and MOLLE fasteners for fixing on the equipment. The built-in battery ensures the operation of the device for up to 4.5 hours, and connection to an external power supply is provided. Such a device costs 59,880 hryvnias (approx. 110 thousand rubles).
BlueBird produces a wide range of military products. The company's products include electronic warfare systems, ground and air repeaters, antennas, and FPV drones, including fiber-optic ones.
