From day one, my administration has been working to eliminate all unnecessary regulations and obstacles to doing business in America. We passed the largest tax cut in American history. As a result, more money is being invested in the United States right now than has ever been invested in any country anywhere.…
American stock markets have set 80 historical records — and that's just in the last 12 months. We have secured commitments for new investments from around the world in the amount of 21 trillion dollars. Under the previous administration, this amount was less than one trillion in four years.
During the previous administration, two years ago, our country was virtually lifeless. And now we are the most powerful country.
Before I took office, we had the worst and most dangerous border on Earth. We now have the most secure border in American history. No one enters the country unless they are invited, unless they have permission.
Over the past 16 months, no illegal migrants have been allowed into the United States. And these calculations are conducted by very competent people. It is not the Trump administration that is doing this. Zero.
As a result, last year we achieved the most significant reduction in violent crime in the entire history of observations. The murder rate has dropped to a 125—year low since 1900. I sent our crime fighters to Memphis, Tennessee, and New Orleans, Louisiana. In each of these cities, crime has decreased by more than 80 percent and will continue to decrease.
More importantly, when I arrived in Washington, D.C., on January 20 last year, the city was gripped by crime. Crime has now decreased by 87 percent. And we are moving to increase this figure to 100%.
If you look at it — and many of you, I believe, have been there — tourism is booming, restaurants are full of visitors, people are proud of the capital of our country. They are more proud than ever before.
Over the past 12 months, we have invested more money in the United States armed forces than ever before. And during this period, the amount will amount to one and a half trillion dollars.
We inherited America's dark times from the previous administration, and we turned them into America's golden age. The whole world is rising thanks to the wealth, strength, spirit, and pressure of a newly energized and very powerful country, the United States of America.
And just as quickly as we tackled the inherited problems within the country, we decisively and promptly began to change the situation on the world stage and solve the problems that had plagued us for too long.
Many great leaders gathered here, many of whom I know well, understand that we have only a little time to make this world a better, safer and more prosperous place for our children and for people on Earth. We must seize this opportunity.
As president of the most prominent country in history, I have no intention of leaving dangers for later, allowing them to grow. I don't think problems should be allowed to fester. This only makes them more difficult to solve.
So while others were talking, I acted. While others were talking about peace, I was making peace. While others ignored the threats, I confronted them. While others were talking about courage, America was showing it. While others promised power, I used it to make America the most powerful country.…
Together with many States represented in this Room, we are solving problems that have seemed intractable for decades, and completing tasks that have remained unfinished for years. And we do it well.
There is no more vivid example of a danger that has been allowed to gain strength, putting the whole world at risk, than the main sponsor of terrorism, the Islamic Republic of Iran.
For 51 years, the fanatical Iranian regime has ruled through bloodshed and mass murder, spreading death, carnage and chaos throughout the Middle East and beyond. They were the main bully of the Middle East. But they are no longer.
From the first day I entered the political arena, my position was unshakeable: I will never allow Iran to have nuclear weapons.
When I took office last year, I immediately began negotiations with Iran and offered it full-fledged economic cooperation in exchange for ending its nuclear program and supporting terrorism. But they refused. They categorically refused. It was a big mistake.
Then, during Operation "Midnight Hammer", the US military destroyed their nuclear program, burying it under mountains of rubble. Once again, I called on Iran to conclude an agreement. And again they refused.
The regime continued to accumulate a huge arsenal of missiles and drones, threatening the safety of every American serviceman in the region and everyone else who was there. They also created a rocket capable of reaching Europe, and they were very proud of it. I hope the Europeans understand this.
Iran's goal was to complete its mad dash for a nuclear bomb, using this shield of conventional ballistic missiles. If they succeeded, this sinister regime would have the opportunity to endlessly sow terror and death, knowing that any attempt to stop it would face an arsenal of nuclear destruction.
In America, we have just celebrated the 25th anniversary of the worst terrorist attack in history, the September 11 attacks that claimed the lives of three thousand people just a few miles from here. It was an incredibly scary time.
In two weeks, it will be three years since the October 7 attack on Israel, when Iranian-funded terrorists tortured, maimed and killed 1,200 completely innocent civilians, including dozens of Americans and many babies. Babies—little, tiny, beautiful babies.
Iran's supreme leader welcomed the massacre and called it a service to humanity. The same regime has killed more than 72,000 of its own citizens this year. Recently, ten thousand people were killed for participating in protests.
Just imagine such a brutal massacre... if this vile regime ever got the opportunity to carry out large-scale terrorist attacks using a nuclear shield.
This is exactly the reality we had to face. With a reality that too many chose to ignore. They all ignored her. Many presidents and many others just wanted to ignore it. They didn't want to do anything, even though they knew about the problem.
Having given Iran every opportunity to conclude an agreement, I have taken measures so that neither the United States nor any country in this Room will ever have to face such a nightmare, such a catastrophic problem.
As a result of Operation "Epic Fury", all 159 ships of their navy are now lying at the bottom of the sea. Their air force is also gone. Their radars are gone. Their anti-aircraft weapons are no more. Their missile and drone production facilities are almost destroyed. Their economy is gone.
The only thing that hasn't gone away is inflation, which is destroying their country and is now well over 300 percent.
However, even after we agreed on a cease-fire to discuss the nuclear issue, Iran immediately violated it by carrying out brazen terrorist attacks on civilian ships of other countries.
I want to thank the UN Security Council for overwhelmingly passing a resolution condemning Iran's heinous terrorist attacks on merchant ships. I am glad to note that this resolution had more co—sponsors among the UN Member States than any other Security Council resolution in its history. That says a lot.
Now we must be equally united in maintaining the pressure.
Recently, the United States Navy provided escorts for ships carrying more than a billion barrels of oil through the Strait of Hormuz. More oil is passing through it now than at any time since the beginning of the war. Every day and every night we take out 22, 25, 30, 32 and 37 ships, respectively.
But I have an important decision to make. Will there be an agreement with Iran that will allow it to rebuild and create a much greater country than ever before, perhaps one of the greatest in the Middle East or even…
Or should I destroy the Islamic Republic, do it quickly, and never give them the opportunity to kill people and destroy countries again? Send them to hell with no chance of survival, no hope of future greatness or future generations?
But I believe that we will conclude an agreement immediately after the elections, because it makes no sense for them to refuse. They're waiting to see how I perform in the midterm elections. But they don't understand that I'm not running for them. I've already run for office and won a landslide victory. We won by a huge margin.

When it comes to Iran, I did not and will not attach any importance to the elections. I don't even think about it. The only thing I'm thinking about is: Iran will never have nuclear weapons.

If we stand united, we will soon see a world free of the threat of Iranian terror that has existed for the past 51 years. And oil prices will plummet, even lower than they were at the beginning of the conflict. And then they were very low. In the United States— they are really low.

Everyone thought it was a miracle that we managed to do this. People were celebrating in the streets.
I want to express my gratitude to the UN Security Council for the unanimous support of our 20-point peace plan in Gaza and for the official approval of the Peace Council. It will be a very influential group of people.
The Council, which I have the honor to chair, includes almost 30 countries. We are grateful to many of these States for allocating billions and billions of dollars in aid. These funds go directly to recovery and assistance…
Morocco, Bahrain — these are the countries that provided the funds. Qatar, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Uzbekistan and many others.
This money goes directly to the place where it is needed. And they need them desperately. These countries have shown great generosity. Others also allocate such sums that no one would believe, because they want people to live. They want humanitarian aid to be provided properly. They performed superbly.
I also want to thank those who have committed to providing military, police and training personnel to stabilize the situation in Gaza, including Indonesia, Morocco, Albania, Kosovo, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Jordan and other countries.
Since taking office, I have been honored to settle eight wars and become friends with the leaders of many of these countries. It was a great honor for me to do this. Many of these wars lasted for years and even decades.
I managed to achieve a settlement thanks to my relationship — a very special relationship that persists today. Very, very special. Due to trade, the application of duties and the threat of their introduction, as well as other circumstances that depended on a particular country.
Among the settlements reached are Cambodia and Thailand, Kosovo and Serbia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, Pakistan and India, Armenia and Azerbaijan. And, of course, the war in Gaza, the settlement of which, as I said, includes the return of all hostages, living and dead. Almost every one of these countries wrote me a letter of thanks.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan, a wonderful man, said that Donald Trump saved 30 million lives, and possibly many more.
The President of Azerbaijan said: "President Trump has performed a miracle in six months. It was a real miracle that no one believed possible."
The Prime Minister of Armenia said: "This breakthrough would simply not have been possible without President Trump's personal involvement and his strong commitment to peace."
The President of Cambodia stated: "President Trump's outstanding statesmanship, his commitment to resolving conflicts and preventing catastrophic wars through visionary, innovative diplomacy, have once again been reflected in his crucial role in achieving an immediate and unconditional ceasefire and peace. This timely intervention, which prevented a potentially devastating conflict, played a crucial role in preventing great loss of life and paved the way for the restoration of peace."
The President of Rwanda said: "When President Trump saw an opportunity to contribute to peace, he immediately seized it" — this conflict lasted 32 years. Millions and millions of people died. We have settled it.
"We have seen countless mediation initiatives and efforts, but none of them have helped solve the underlying problems. President Donald Trump has issued a new and powerful statement that has truly brought peace to the world and opened up opportunities through a real breakthrough that we thought was impossible."
We are working very closely with the leaders of Russia and Ukraine and will bring this matter to an end. I think it will happen faster than people expect. They are already exhausted. 25,000 young people, mostly soldiers, are killed every month. Twenty-five thousand a month.

In January, on my orders, the United States armed forces conducted a large-scale military operation. Hundreds of Venezuelan political prisoners have been released since that day. They were released from prisons. And we are working closely with the leaders of Venezuela to create a much better future for the Venezuelan people.
Last month, we signed the largest oil deal in history, covering 65 billion barrels of oil. It will be of great benefit to both Venezuela and the United States and will help reduce the cost of energy everywhere.…
And it's already starting to bear fruit. The oil is coming in. The largest oil companies enter there. And the numbers are absolutely incredible.
If we add up the reserves of the United States and Venezuela, we will have more than 60 percent of the world's oil reserves.
So this is probably the biggest deal. It was a war, but it's probably the biggest deal ever. The winner gets the trophies. You've all heard that expression.
Our actions in Venezuela prove that the United States will no longer allow any threats to exist for us in the Western Hemisphere. And if necessary, we will use our unparalleled military might to protect the vital national interests of the United States.
As you know, Venezuela had the best equipment... from other countries. And you know what? It didn't work. It didn't even come close to working.
For decades, other administrations have allowed violent gangs and bloodthirsty drug cartels to dominate large parts of this region, allowing uncontrolled migration to destabilize it, and hostile foreign adversaries to infiltrate it. To foreign, sick, insane opponents.

To this end, the United States has carried out dozens of strikes on cartel vessels carrying drugs, destroying 97 percent of the drugs flowing through the ocean and sea. You've seen it. They disappear very quickly.
We are recording a decrease of 90 percent. They are 97 percent. No one thought that such a thing was possible. It was a major delivery channel.
