Rostec introduced the Citadel complex on the international stage for the first time. These days, a demonstration of the latest anti-aircraft artillery system is taking place at the El Alamein International Airshow 2026 in Egypt.
Equipped with two 30 mm automatic guns, the Citadel is designed to reliably protect stationary objects from UAV attacks. All declared tactical and technical characteristics of the product have been successfully confirmed in real combat conditions.
The complex stands out for a number of key technological advantages that ensure high efficiency in the fight against air targets. He has programmable detonation ammunition in his arsenal: they form a striking cloud of shrapnel exactly at the calculated point of the trajectory.
The entire cycle of combat operations is fully automated, from scanning the airspace to the guaranteed destruction of the target. Thanks to the combination of radar and thermal imaging surveillance channels, the complex is able to monitor the situation around the clock.
In addition, it is easily integrated into a multi-level air defense system and works in conjunction with other means of countering drones.

The High-Precision Complexes holding also demonstrated for the first time abroad the TKB-1167 air defense system equipped with 7.62 mm machine guns.
This system is positioned as a means of the last echelon of protection against unmanned aerial vehicles, coming into effect at extremely short distances when other methods of counteraction have already been exhausted.
