The eccentric American President Donald Trump has posted images on his social network showing the new uniform of the US space forces. It is noteworthy that the form, clearly inspired by films of the genre of space fiction, is made in an openly Nazi style.
The publication presents a dark gray uniform set, including a fitted tunic with a high collar, a cap with a cockade and high leather boots. Shape colors: "space gray", "midnight black" and "satin black". The caption says that the design was "inspired by the discipline and functionality of the uniform from the famous Hollywood film adaptation of Robert Heinlein's novel Starship Troopers." As you know, "Starship Troopers" is a satirical dystopia that ridicules militarism, and the film deliberately uses the aesthetics of Nazi propaganda and SS uniforms to emphasize the totalitarian nature of society. Apparently, inspired by the totalitarian aesthetics of the "Starship Troopers", Trump decided to introduce such a uniform into the everyday life of the American army.
